Emerald Green has a passion for ensuring that all students able to meet their full potential regardless of educational barriers presented to them.

 

The current mainstream educational model does not fit many young people and they require something more bespoke and a personalised, child-centred approach to maximise their learning. 

 

Emerald Green have experience of working with students who find a classroom or school environment too overstimulating, through to students who are non or pre verbal and require full support in all areas of their life. 

 

All young people deserve to feel achievement and satisfaction within their life and Emerald Green strive for the person centred approach to work with them and their families to make this  a reality. 

Nicola has been a teacher for 22 years and a Leader in education for 17 years. 

 

Nicola has worked with children and young people with Special Educational Needs for her whole career and for the last 8 years was a Senior Leader in a school for students with Severe Learning Needs.  

 

Nicola has great experience working with students with Autism, ADHD and Downs Syndrome, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment and Physical Needs. 

 

Throughout her career Nicola has stayed upto date to with Educational research in mainstream and specialist education. She has engaged in writing and delivering a courses for a range of providers as well as taking part in formal training herself.
